Nonwoven fabrics are sheets of fibers, continuous filaments, or spun yarns of any nature or origin, formed into a web and bound together by any means other than knitting or weaving. Nonwoven fabrics have certain properties including but not limited to absorbency, strength, liquid resistance, elasticity, softness, flame retardancy, washability, cushioning, filtering, bacterial barrier, and sterility.
Today, the nonwoven manufacturing industry is characterized as an industry that has accomplished the penetration of products into consumers' daily lives in ways that users can clearly see, touch, and feel. Its product range has grown larger and its applications have expanded. It is impossible to make a complete list of applications of non-woven fabrics. As a result, its importance today is not the same as the last one, its importance emerges in its use.
