The last ChemUK 2023 Expo prepared to highlight safe, innovative solutions for essential process industries. The latest developments in our range of filters and housings will be showcased to an audience of chemical plant operators, supply chain manufacturers and user industries gathered at the NEC in Birmingham on 10-11 May 2023. A key theme is how our proprietary technology, developed over 38 years, helps reduce operator exposure, reduce risk and improve process economics in potentially hazardous manufacturing environments worldwide. These included coatings manufacturing, pharmaceutical processing, digital ink filtration, particle and contaminant removal, and laboratory-based separation systems. Lisa Astbury, Head of UK Sales at Amazon Filters, who was on the exhibition stand, said: We design, manufacture and supply effective, robust solutions for filtration systems, no matter how complex. By developing suitable configurations of filters and housings, we support the processing of many high-viscosity materials, including resins, sealants, mastics and volatile solvents. Our products, backed by ATEX certification, help operators meet stringent regulatory standards for equipment and protective systems used in all types of materials and flow velocities, including explosive atmospheres and other challenging environments. We work closely with our customers in the chemical industry - and many other fields - to design efficient and cost-effective solutions based on their exact specifications. This is true whether removing particulate contaminants from raw bulk starter chemicals or classifying pigmented inks for use in sophisticated printheads. We are thrilled to be back at ChemUK to discuss the latest developments in our solutions portfolio. The filter range features VisClear II. It is specially designed for chemical and coating production. It provides a solution for high-viscosity formulations required to withstand high differential pressures. VisClear II is an advanced replacement for all applications using older technology RBC (resin-bonded cartridge) filters. It is securely enclosed and isolated inside SupaClean, a seal-bag filter system ideal for corrosion-resistant materials, eliminating the risk of contamination and protecting other kit components. SupaClean accepts our full range of filter types while providing exceptional operator safety. A new mechanical safety interlock is highlighted, targeting operators in the chemical, water, pharma, food and beverage, OEM and oil and gas industries. The accessory prevents an 'under pressure' housing from opening too quickly and suddenly releasing potentially hazardous materials, liquids or substances. The interlock is suitable for use on Amazon Filters 61 and 62 series three- and five-stack cartridge housings and 84 and 85 series bag housings when using V-clamp closures. Between them, the four housings are suitable for most process filtration applications across our target industries, including many in high-flow and high-pressure situations. ChemUK takes place at the NEC Birmingham on 10-11 May 2023 and is divided into three main show zones. This focus is on the chemical industry supply chain; Chemical, process and plant engineering; and, new for 2023, the 'ChemLab' laboratory and innovation.
